Secret Agent X-9 #20

Secret Agent X-9 investigates the murder of scientist Bansk, whose prints are found in a cabin belonging to a woman named Josephine Nillats with connections to a foreign spy operation. The FBI identifies Josephine as having worked in a war plant during the war, and X-9 pursues the case with the aid of local police. A subversionist agent attempting to flee is cornered by police, drives recklessly down an icy road to escape, and the car sideswipes a tree, catches fire, and explodes in a dramatic climax.
