Secret Mysteries #17 This anthology issue contains three stories: "The Deadly Diamond," in which African officers pursue a criminal who has hidden a valuable diamond in a snake that wraps around a woman's neck, only to discover the snake has vanished along with the stone; "Out of This World!," where newspaper editor Dan Dana assigns reporter Dan to expose "Masters," a mysterious mystic claiming to contact the dead, but Dan discovers the man has literally left this world and faded away; and "Sinister Santa Claus," in which a publicity department employee named Marty encounters a violent Santa Claus figure at his apartment building and later realizes the creature was actually a man in costume, though the truth remains unsettling.
