This anthology issue contains at least two stories. "Uncle Cosmos's Legacy" features a man and woman falling victim to a mysterious duplicator device that creates dangerous copies of them. In a separate story, explorers discover a hidden jungle containing a gigantic plant-like creature that the indigenous people worship, and a statue of Pan that may possess supernatural powers; the crew must decide whether to remove the artifact despite warnings about its potentially malevolent influence. A third story involves a ship's crew dealing with a mysterious crate and strange occurrences at sea, including an unexplained sound that may be connected to the cargo they're transporting.
