This issue contains two stories. "Bookkeeper–Bride" follows a lonely woman working in the city who meets Johnny and falls in love, but learns a bitter lesson about trust when his behavior disappoints her. "Dream of Love" depicts a woman who dreams of romance with the boy next door; years later, she encounters him as a successful man and they reunite, but when she quits her job at the department store thinking of him, she discovers he is not what she imagined and leaves him at the door.
