This issue is an anthology containing at least two stories. "Yesterday's Love" depicts a bride who realizes on her wedding day that she has lost her love for her husband George, having fallen for another man instead, though she goes through with the ceremony as George's wife is mentioned to be getting out of a state work farm. "Ten Dollars a Word" follows young newspaper reporter Helen Wilson, who is assigned by her editor to investigate the Feily Friendship Club, a matchmaking service for people over thirty-five; she goes undercover to report on the club's activities and its methods of connecting compatible singles, including a planned group outing to Orchard Beach.
