This issue is an anthology featuring two police crime stories. "Prison Break" tells of Danny Morgan, a famous escape artist imprisoned in Iowa's most modern, best-guarded prison, who has escaped three times before and makes a strange promise to the warden in return for sparing six lives. "Mike Bayner...The Scorpion" follows FBI agents as they pursue Mike "The Scorpion" Bayner, a gangster from Chicago, using his criminal record and known associates to track him down and bring about one of the most sensational captures in Department of Justice history.
