Sherlock Holmes #1

Sherlock Holmes investigates a case involving Sir Reginald's estate and a large bank account, meeting with Chief Walters of the local police. About a month prior, Sir Reginald's housekeeper received a frantic phone call from his neighbor Nat Borden reporting a terrible fight between the two men. Holmes arrives to find the men have been scrapping and must stop them before they kill each other, then recovers a ruby that was stolen. The story concludes with supernatural elements as a spirit named Diane appears, revealing herself as more than a friend and bestowing a gift upon her grandfather before vanishing into the land of spirits.
