Silly Pilly Comics #1

Frank Luther's Silly Pilly Comics #1 is an anthology featuring multiple stories centered on humorous animal characters. The issue includes "Mr. Wheatley Whale," in which the whale character accidentally ruins a woman's home while trying to help, mistaking decorative grapes for real ones and offering her canned soup as an apology; "Brumas," following a bear cub's discovery of a red balloon at the zoo; and a rodeo story in which two boys watch a cowboy compete in a bronc-riding event, with the cowboy successfully staying mounted on a bucking horse until the whistle blows.
