Sinister Tales #17

This anthology issue contains at least two stories: "The Forbidden Room," featuring a young boy discovering a mysterious and dangerous room in a strange house, and "The Wanderer," in which spaceship pilot John Meister finances an expedition to explore a mysterious asteroid that Professor Richard S. Falk has observed moving erratically through space. In "The Wanderer," the Professor and Meister assemble a crew including reporter Frank Loew to investigate the unknown asteroid, though the story's conclusion is not fully visible in these pages. A third story, "August," depicts a man who acquires a supernatural coat that grants him powers and compels him toward unknown purposes, ending with a reference to a "Second World" entity.
