The lead story follows Rocky Lane as he investigates cattle rustling from Bronc Bromley's Flying M Ranch, discovering the branding irons are being used to frame the crime. Another story, "Lash LaRue and the Widow's Purse," involves Lash LaRue being called upon to recover stolen life savings and possessions taken from defenseless widows in Dover County, which he pursues using his trademark fighting skills and six-guns. The issue also includes stories featuring Tex Ritter and Tom Mix in separate western adventures.
