Slam-Bang Comics #5

Diamond Jack and his magic gem feature prominently in this issue. The visible pages show a story involving a gorilla man, a murderer's escaped convict named Margo with sprouted wings, and a pursuit involving planes and a rope ladder that ends with Margo leaping to safety in an east plane. Later scenes depict naval warfare, including a War Bird pilot bombing a German craft and destroying a ship, culminating with the pilot being welcomed aboard an Allied cruiser by its commander.
