Smash Comics #9 Synopsis This anthology issue features multiple stories including a "Flash Fulton with the Black X" story in which Flash must retrieve stolen army papers from a criminal ring and thwart a plane escape at midnight with the help of a female associate. Another story follows an investigator who uncovers a murder mystery involving a cab driver, using handwriting analysis and police work to identify the real killer. The Invisible Hood story takes place on a vacation to Hawk Island where the character encounters pirates and treasure, with his invisible cloak proving useful against criminal threats.
