A second story features adventurer Lance Larson caught between Mongolian forces attacking from both sides, where he learns of a magical lead box from Prince Louis and ultimately returns to the Everglades after completing his mission. A third story involves a nighttime waterfront adventure in which a character named Duke battles rogues and seeks to rescue "Lady Nancy," encountering an ambassador named Castillo in the process.
