Soldiers of Fortune #7 This issue contains two stories. "Cheechako Fortune" follows a prospector named Young Al who arrives in the Yukon during the gold rush and hears about hidden gold in Cheechako Hill; when he finally discovers it, other miners rush to stake claims, but Al manages to extract the largest fortune. In the second story, a soldier named Larson becomes infatuated with a beautiful woman named Narima and helps her escape from the Red Rover, a pirate ship; when the Red Rover is later captured, Larson discovers that Narima had used him and had been part of the pirate crew, leading to a tense confrontation at the docks.
