Space Adventures #5

A space crew encounters a dangerous alien creature on an unexplored planet and must escape before their oxygen runs out, setting off in their spacecraft within thirty-six hours. Three days later, a meteor forces their ship off course, and they discover the Zodians are using gravitational weapons called gravimeters to repel Dox away from the bright sun Algol in an ongoing interplanetary war. The crew learns the Zodians have sentenced a traitor named Valgo to death in a space capsule, and the loser in this conflict between the two warring species faces exile from their mutual orbit around Algol.
