Sparkle Comics #25

Sparkler Comics #25 is an anthology featuring multiple stories. "Sparkler Salutes" presents factual accounts of heroism by U.S. Armed Forces personnel, including a tribute to Lt. Samuel S. Logan of Paloa, Kansas and Lt. J. G. Percy of San Francisco, California, who survived severe combat injuries and miraculous rescues during World War II aerial combat over the Russell Islands. The issue also includes "Abbie and Slats," in which Pop and Becky Ape achieve success posing for Cal App's cartoon strip in New York, leading to a meeting with cartoonist Ratcliffe Ace, who becomes an admirer of their work. Additionally, a story involving Biltybux's brother is continued from the cover feature, showing the character being celebrated by townspeople as a hero after miraculously recovering from injuries.
