Sparkling Stars #14

This is an anthology issue featuring multiple stories. One story involves two criminals who steal cash and papers from a box, then flee into the woods to avoid detection, only to be pursued by FBI Agent W.M. Spencer investigating a trail of clues. Another features detectives investigating a stolen necklace from a woman named Mrs. Chatterbox, discovering it was taken just minutes after being placed on a clay bust for a sculptor's pose. A third story depicts military pilots including Lank, Von Kessler, and Jato transporting prisoners to Washington, where they discover Japanese maps revealing supply routes to the American underground, leading to a daring rescue mission to pick up a fellow pilot named Clem in the Far East.
