Speed Demons #6

In "Jinx," driver Jinx Gerrity pilots car number 13 in a stock car race, despite the bad luck associated with the green vehicle and its number. A rival driver using dirty tricks attempts to force Jinx out of the race, but Flash Murdock, a skilled racer, employs his own tricks to neutralize the interference. As the race progresses past the halfway point, Murdock takes the lead, and a mysterious motorcycle rider on the track begins closing the gap between himself and Murdock. Joe, a second-place finisher in an earlier race, drives aggressively during the event and attempts to pass other cars, eventually colliding with Ace Vane's car driven by his daughter, who is rooting for a different driver—resulting in Joe finishing third while the motorcycle stranger's true identity and role in the race outcome remain ambiguous.
