Startling Comics #1 Synopsis This anthology issue features two main stories. "G-Man Dalton" follows secret agent Bob Dalton as he investigates a $15,000 bank robbery at Grailston National Bank orchestrated by bandits. The case escalates when Dalton uncovers a connection to a sinister Chinese villain called the White Leader, leading to action involving torture chambers, river pursuits, and Dalton's escape from a watery grave through his own strength. The second story, "Scoop" (visible in portions), involves a character named Scoop who encounters the Yellow Death gang, secret sessions, Chinese torture methods involving starved rats, and ultimately confronts the White Leader's forces in a climactic battle.
