This anthology issue features "Captain Future—Man of Tomorrow," in which a superhero battles a villain with a mysterious x-ray projector weapon and mind-control abilities over government defense secrets. The second story, "Don Davis: Espionage Ace," follows an intelligence operative who intercepts enemy naval code messages and uncovers a plot involving a clerk in the Code Department who can be made to aid the enemy nation Teutonia, leading to dangerous confrontations and a desperate chase sequence involving a masked rider on horseback pursued across desert terrain.
