"Guest of the West" features Stevie and friends chosen by "Notare" Magazine as teen guests at a dude ranch for spring vacation and a photo shoot. The story includes comedic misadventures at the ranch, including a birthday lunch at Schmidlap's German Restaurant where an adult named Duke invites the children to a rodeo. Later, Stevie receives mail-order muscle-building weights and a dog, leading to humorous training scenes where the dog knocks Stevie around, ultimately resulting in Stevie developing impressive muscles that attract attention as "Bobby Pings," a would-be strongman.
