Stony Craig #1

Captain Gale leads a U.S. Army rescue team on a mission to liberate American prisoners from a Japanese-held POW camp. After securing the prisoners and fighting off enemy fire, the team attempts to evacuate by plane, but Stony Craig, a stubborn Marine sergeant, insists on staying behind to ensure all men escape safely. Craig ultimately makes his way back to Allied lines, where he is reunited with fellow soldiers and recognized for his heroic actions in the rescue operation.
