Straight Arrow #18 The issue contains two main stories. "Red Hawk" tells of a fierce warrior who hunts wild animals in the mountains, stealing furs and hides from other hunters; when Cheyenne hunters are killed and their catches stolen, only Red Hawk dares to pursue the thief into the dangerous mountain trails. The second story features Straight Arrow helping a young doctor treat Water Willow, the sick daughter of a Comanche chief; after successfully operating despite the language barrier and the chief's initial hostility, Straight Arrow must then track down and defeat a group of Comanche warriors who pose a threat to the settlement.
