Straight Arrow #19 This issue contains a "Red Hawk" story titled "The Happy Hunting Grounds!" in which a Cheyenne legend tells of dead warriors journeying to a peaceful land where all tribes live in harmony, but a young warrior named Spearthrower refuses to accept this fate after his bride dies. When the tribe's medicine man attempts to send Spearthrower to the happy hunting grounds, Steve Adams (Straight Arrow) intervenes, revealing that the supposed curse of the fire god has been manufactured to control the tribe. Adams defeats the scheme and helps restore peace to the people.
