Straight Arrow #4

Steve Adams and his friend Packy discover rustlers stealing cattle from the Broken Bow Ranch and plan to recover the herd, but learn the thieves intend to use the stolen money to buy ranches and become wealthy landowners. When Indians riding through the valley are suspected of the crime, Steve and Packy must stop a war between settlers and Native Americans by exposing the real culprits. Straight Arrow intervenes in a conflict between Cheyenne warriors and the Dog Soldiers, a rival warrior society, while also tracking down the white buffalo hide that serves as a peace offering between Fort Cobb and the tribes.
