Straight Arrow #48

Straight Arrow encounters an old Comanche war chief named Walrus Tusk who seeks his help to recover a sacred bow stolen by enemies and to destroy evil things associated with it. The chief explains that he lost the bow during a raid and asks Straight Arrow to aid him in his quest, promising to teach him Comanche ways in return. Straight Arrow agrees and rides alongside the war chief across the frozen northern lands to confront those who possess the bow. Along the way, Straight Arrow faces tests of skill including demonstrations by Bat Masterson and challenges involving survival feats like obtaining water from sky or ground, ultimately proving himself worthy among the Comanche people.
