This issue contains two stories: "Creeping Vines," in which a man recounts his African adventures to a movie producer who wants to film a jungle picture, discussing the Radinga Jungle's deadly expanding vines and the Ashanti people's history, and "The Phantom Archers," set in August 1914 during World War I, where giant spectral archers appear above British soldiers reading newspaper headlines of German attacks, followed by a sea voyage in which an old captain and his companion search for a sunken treasure hidden in Spanish and Indian ship hulks, only to discover a phantom vessel blocking their path.
