This anthology issue contains at least two stories. The first story deals with a man named Neal who, after his niece Jill's uncle calls her to his office on an important matter, attempts theft at the Thurston Building but is caught and cornered on the eighth floor, where he meets a mysterious disappearing woman and faces threats from Harry Jefferson that leave him trapped. The second story, "The Missing Witness Mystery," follows detectives investigating a case where a crucial eyewitness against racketeer Sid Hilton vanishes, leading them to discover the witness hiding in a coastal area near cliffs, where one detective encounters a cougar cub and must rescue it from danger.
