An anthology of three suspense tales: "The Scare!" follows a man who witnesses a horrifying face in his mirror and is subsequently abducted and tortured by mysterious captors who measure every inch of his face with calipers before he escapes; "The Man Who Lost His Face!" depicts an unnamed protagonist subjected to the same facial mutilation; and "Ejos Discovers Earth" presents a first-person account by Martian Ejos Tsorf, who claims to be the first Martian to discover the planet Earth during a space expedition, only to have his discovery disputed and his ambitions thwarted by rival Honjo Orezo.
