Sunny #11 This issue contains multiple stories featuring the character Sunny. In "Rookies at Hooky," Sunny and a truant officer named Richy skip school to enjoy the woods, where Richy attempts to copy Sunny's history homework. "Junior in Ashes and Paints" depicts Junior attempting to paint a building while dealing with money troubles and an upcoming dance. In the main story, Sunny becomes involved in a romantic misunderstanding when her father invites his friend Teddy to dinner; Sunny initially believes Teddy is coming to see her, but it turns out he is simply joining the family for the meal.
