Super Western Funnies #4 The Phantom Ranger pursues the outlaw Satania across desert terrain after the criminal escapes from custody. When a young boy named Billy asks to join the Ranger in tracking Satania, the Ranger agrees and teaches him horsemanship before they set out together. During their search in the hills, they encounter Smith, a man who claims Satania killed his friend and stole his freedom, and Smith joins forces with the Ranger to capture the outlaw. The story culminates in a confrontation where Smith is shot and killed by Satania, but the Phantom Ranger ultimately defeats Satania and brings him to justice.
