Super Thriller Comic #21

This issue features two main stories. "Operation Hot Spot" follows test pilot Dan Carew as he flies the experimental XP-1 aircraft designed to break the heat barrier, unaware of the dangers ahead; the plane crashes and is discovered by Igor Iranov, who reports it to his superiors at a military aerodrome. "Johnny and the Bull" depicts a young man named Johnny who, after practicing riding a Brahmin bull at an arena, must use the animal to help defend against armed visitors attempting to shoot up the place, ultimately using the bull as an unexpected weapon to drive off the attackers.
