This issue features two stories: "Snow Time for Foolin'" depicts Supermouse skiing down a snowy slope, losing control, and colliding with other characters before encountering criminal elements that he must confront with the help of a police officer named Chief. "The Chipmunk Who Lost Pep," by Betty Cumming, follows a shy chipmunk named Charlie who lacks confidence and charm; when a ferocious wildcat threatens the chipmunk glade, Charlie's strategic thinking saves his community and he is elected Junior Leader, proving that ability counts for more than charisma. The issue also includes a short Roscoe story in which Roscoe uses his new tennis racquet on a snowy day.
