Suspense Comics #9 (1945) An anthology issue containing at least two stories. One story involves a judge who is manipulated by a woman named Meda into helping her husband Bull Barron escape justice after he compromises the judge's son; the judge later realizes he was framed for murder and must clear his name. Another story features a mysterious idol with a poisoned needle trap that kills a thief, and involves Mr. Nobody searching for a valuable Chinese silver idol kept in a museum. A third story depicts a spy thriller set during World War II, with a Nazi operative using an hourglass countdown device and a female dancer named Sascha to complete a sinister mission before midnight.
