This issue contains two main stories. "Romance Shy" follows a man named Dan who dyes his blonde hair dark and wears glasses to avoid resembling his late mother, but still retains the gentle nature she instilled in him; when he reunites with his sister and attempts to impress a woman named Vergy at a dinner, his plans go awry, and he later discovers Vergy has deceived him at an antiques auction before ultimately reconciling with her. The second story features a woman professing her love while a man named Todd and a woman named Susan navigate a troubled relationship, with Susan ultimately choosing Matt over Todd after years of uncertainty and heartbreak.
