This issue contains two distinct stories. The main story follows a woman named Lois whose marriage to Jeff is struggling; seeking advice, she consults with a friend about her doubts, ultimately wishing she had never met Jeff and using a time-travel device to erase him from her life—only to discover she regrets the decision and wants to reverse it. The second story, "Sweetheart of the Month," profiles singer Jimmie Rodgers, recounting his early life in Camus, Washington, his discovery of music at age five, his initial shyness, and his eventual success entertaining troops in the Army before pursuing a career as a civilian performer, though his lack of confidence initially held him back from capitalizing on his talent.
