Swift Arrow's Gunfighters is an anthology featuring multiple stories. The main story, "Men of the Law," follows a gunfighter who encounters law enforcement officials and warns of conflict to come. A secondary feature, "The White Buffalo," presents historical facts about the American bison, telling of a young boy named Tommy Taylor who encounters a great white buffalo at Fort Courage and learns of its significance to Native Americans through his father and a chief, eventually using a hawk and dynamite to stop outlaws led by Wolf Gaines who threaten the fort.
