T.H.U.N.D.E.R. Agents #17 contains multiple stories. In one tale, a T.H.U.N.D.E.R. agent in blue pursues a criminal into a getaway car, quoting "of mice and men," and later confronts him about taking a "gizmo." In another story, giant locust machines attack a shore installation; a shirtless agent dives into a lake to stop them and uses black paint to blind the robot locusts' optical sensors. A third story, "Dynamo," reveals a crooked union minister's plot to destroy T.H.U.N.D.E.R. using its own agents—Demo, Sparta, Tarantula, and Mayven—along with a powerful weapon, which together form S.P.I.D.E.R.; Dynamo fights to stop this conspiracy, assisted by agent Len.
