T-Man #18

T-Man, a world-wide trouble-shooter for American intelligence, infiltrates an international smuggling operation centered in Cairo after his predecessor Pete Trask is killed. Working undercover, T-Man discovers the smugglers are planning to sabotage Anglo-American negotiations and that a woman named Tina and a man named Valdstock are key figures in the operation. After being captured and nearly executed, T-Man escapes into the Egyptian desert, where he recovers from unconsciousness and uses his wits to survive and pursue the smugglers, ultimately defeating their scheme by draining their getaway vehicle of water and fuel, leaving them stranded in the desert.
