T-Man #28

Treasury Agent Pete Trask investigates the murder of his friend Jimmie during a Kashmir conference train ride, learning that Jimmie had discovered a Communist plot to frame the Communists themselves with evidence of good Russian clothing. After Jimmie's dying words and a mysterious car mentioned in connection with the crime, Trask pursues the lead, discovering that a woman named Marie—who claims to be helping refugees—is actually a Communist operative involved in the scheme, using discarded American clothing as false proof of Communist benevolence. Trask must expose her deception before the Communist propaganda takes hold.
