This anthology issue contains multiple stories. "Speck, Spot and Sis" follows the titular characters as they join a Red Cross first aid class, with Spot and Sis becoming enthusiastic students who practice their newfound bandaging skills. "The Cadet" features an adventure involving Uncas, grandson of Uncas from "The Last of the Mohicans," who rescues a white squaw from captors and leads the Delaware warriors in pursuit of the Huron tribe. "Target Boys" depicts Bill and his posse planning a midnight ambush on rustlers heading to Buffalo Butte; they observe a cattle and horse theft in progress and prepare to follow the rustlers to stop them.
