This issue features "Too Many Kisses," a story about a shy fourteen-year-old girl who becomes interested in Billy, a boy of fifteen who appears older and more mature. After an initial hesitation due to his reputation as a kisser, she begins dating him and they grow close over two weeks. When Billy reveals he is leaving and cannot continue their relationship, the girl experiences heartbreak but learns from the experience. The issue also includes a "Teen-Age Troubles" advice column by Dr. Harold Gluck addressing problems faced by high school–aged readers.
