This anthology issue contains two romantic stories. "A Good Team" depicts two aquatic performers—Ken and an unnamed female narrator—who are stars of the Aqua-Ski show until blonde water nymph Paula Norris arrives and attempts to break up their romance; the narrator ultimately sacrifices her career to win Ken back by diving into the water. "The Mature Man" follows a younger woman who becomes infatuated with an older, established businessman with a wife and two children; after he rejects her advances and she encounters him with his family, she realizes the foolishness of her crush and accepts that a mature man could never offer her the love she truly deserves. Both stories explore themes of romantic rivalry and misplaced affection within the context of 1950s teen romance conventions.
