This issue contains two romantic stories. "Join the Club" follows Rita, who believes a boy named Billy loves her just as she thought he loved her when she was his girlfriend, only to discover that his affections have shifted. "A Kiss for Carol" features a young man pursuing Carol, a girl he meets through academic channels; after she is selected as a model for a teen-age clothing campaign and achieves success in New York, he must confront his feelings when another romantic rival appears and a car accident tests their relationship.
