This issue contains two stories. "My Fickle Heart" depicts a young couple who hastily marry against their families' wishes, only to have the groom abandon his bride shortly after, leaving her heartbroken and confused about their sudden separation. "Song of Sorrow" is a prose story narrated by a girl who reflects on her lost love, Jim Malvin, whom she didn't marry despite their years of courtship in high school; she recounts how they had plans to open a business together but ultimately went their separate ways, leaving her with regret and longing for what might have been.
