Teen Confessions #12 is an anthology issue containing at least two stories. "Afraid to Love" follows a girl who has longed to be like other happy girls but fears love, only to confess her feelings to a boy after a golf outing makes her realize she loves him, ultimately ending with mutual affection. "Baby Sitter's Crush" tells of a teenage babysitter who develops feelings for her employer Mr. Kitteridge after being called to help entertain a client; when he leaves with his young son Joey, she learns the boy's mother died at birth, and the story concludes with the babysitter encountering Mr. Kitteridge again, suggesting a rekindling of romantic connection.
