"Dude Ranger" An ex-ranger named Lee Summers, unable to fight, ride, or shoot, is deemed unfit for ranger work and takes refuge in Cardiff's saloon. When a friend reports three men with contraband-loaded mules crossing the Rio Grande, Summers finds himself drawn into action. A woman he encounters breaks his heart when she chooses a wild mustang over a life with him, leaving him to ride away alone into the desert.
