The Adventures of Peter Wheat #54

Peter and Beetle spot strange smoke signals in the sky and journey to the Tree Castle to consult Old Owl for answers. On their way, they encounter a giant octopus in the water and must swim to safety. Back at the bakery, they discover giant red ants approaching and devise a plan to protect it by dividing the ants' forces and trapping them in the basement, ultimately defeating the invaders with the help of Sammy Sweets and other defenders.
