Robin Hood brings him to meet the King, and a maiden named Priscilla sings for the King to prove the young man's innocence; when the King appears unmoved, Priscilla offers to enter a contest to demonstrate his innocence, though the outcome of this challenge remains uncertain at the story's conclusion.
