The Brain #2

This anthology issue contains two humorous stories: "The Day the Zoo Was Jinxed," in which Jinx, a boy with magical powers, causes chaos at the zoo when he attempts to ask Kelly a financial question about sending a caretaker to Africa, only to accidentally summon wild animals that pursue him throughout town. A second story features Dough, a boy who attempts to build muscles in the school gymnasium by exercising, only to find his oversized brain prevents him from succeeding; he later discovers a way to use his intelligence to outsmart a muscular bully by tying him up with a rope. In a third sequence, Dough's father struggles with removing dough from his kitchen after Dough creates an enormous batch that expands uncontrollably, threatening to overtake the house until the father finally discovers a quick solution to eliminate the mess.
